The Russian Open Championship of Online Poker is a brand-new PokerStars tournament series that gives you the chance to prove you are the best player in your area. It runs October 31 - November 7, with 11 events and a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000. If you live in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine or Uzbekistan you can take part.
This is the Championship where you can compete exclusively against other players from your region for bragging rights and huge cash prizes. The regional Championships of Online Poker is a tournament series for all players around the world. Each of the 13 regions has their own tailor-made tournament schedule and qualification structure, and events are available in a range of buy-ins and games, meaning everyone can take part.
The 13 regions span the globe and include: Germanics, Benelux, USA, Canada, Nordics, Baltics, UK & Ireland, Russian Open, Central & Eastern Europe, Asia Pacific, Iberia, Latin America and Mediterranean. Every region has its own tournament schedule and Main Event. Buy-ins range from $11 to $530, but you can qualify for a lot less via PokerStars Satellites. Qualify for a regional COOP event and you’ll get to join other players from your area and Team PokerStars Pro at the tables.
